Zuerst wurde mit herk\u00f6mmlichen Batterien und L\u00e4mpchen ge\u00fcbt.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Und weil wir uns immer noch im Rahmen unseres Kartoffelprojekts bewegen, wollten wir das Ganze nach Anleitung auch mit Kartoffeln austesten. Die ben\u00f6tigten Materialien \u2013 Kupferm\u00fcnzen, verzinnte N\u00e4gel, Kabel, Krokoklemmen und nat\u00fcrlich Kartoffeln lagen bereit. Die Aufgabe war, eine einfache Batterie zu erzeugen, die ein rotes LED L\u00e4mpchen zum Leuchten bringt.<\/p>\n<p>In der Theorie l\u00f6sen sich aus dem Zinn Elektronen, die durch die \u201eS\u00e4ure\u201c der Kartoffeln zum Kupfer dr\u00e4ngen \u2013 Strom flie\u00dft. In der Praxis gelang es zun\u00e4chst mit drei \u201ehintereinander geschalteten\u201c Kartoffelbatterien nicht, die LED zum Leuchten zu bringen.<\/p>\n<p>Aber erstens geh\u00f6rt es auch zur Forschung dazu, manchmal zu scheitern und zweitens geh\u00f6rt auch Experimentieren dazu. Und so gelang es schlie\u00dflich einer Gruppe durch Verbinden von sechs (!)
